Little Critters On Magic Mushrooms

The Inspiration
A couple of years ago, I rescued a few dozen snails that were orphaned during a commercial landscaping incident. I regretted not having the time to shoot them before their relocation back into the wild. While working on a new portfolio food shoot, I told my stylist these mushrooms would be great with my rehabbed snails. Startling me from a daydream of what the little slimy creatures are up to, she exclaimed, " I saw snails in the gardens around the building". Armed with a leaf of lettuce she returned triumphantly only minutes later with a snail to wrangle for the photo series. The Inspiration
