Matthew Klein is a New York City-based photographer who specializes in advertising, editorial, food, corporate and packaging photography. His work has appeared in countless magazines including Time, Fortune, New York and U.S. News & World Report. He has photographed as many as 56 cookbooks. such as Simply Light Cooking, Pleasures of the Table, Eating Well Magazine's Desserts Cookbook and the entire Joy of...series. He also photographed a complete line of packaging for Grand Union Supermarkets, packaging for M&M Mars, Lipton's, Jello and Wolfgang Puck Soups. Klein also does design projects and has photographed and designed Wolfgang Puck's Web site: www.wolfgangpuck.com. Along with food, packaging and advertising, Klein has shot annualreports for numerous companies, including ITT, AT&T, American Home Products, American Express, Penn Central, H.J. Heinz, Sara Lee and Chase Manhattan Bank. He has won all the "usual awards," as he would say, but he is most proud of the Le Prix Savignac, The French Government's prize for best poster of the year in 1997 with Milton Glaser. Klein's exhibitions have included Graphics in the City, 1988, at the Triennale di Milano and WORK/LIFE/TOOLS, a traveling exhibition in 1997 that included 50 portraits and still lifes of highly accomplished people and their tools.
