Fernanda Preto was born in Brazil in 1978. She received an associated degree in photography and graphic design from Panamericana School of Arts in São Paulo in the year 2000, and graduated from Tuiuti University of Paraná in 2005 with a bachelor degree in Visual Arts. Fernanda's works were selected by several importants Photo Events / Exhibitions as Itaú Cultural Art Institution for the Mezanino Project of Emerging Photographers, Erotica – the senses in art, at Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil and a solo exhibition at Diana Lowenstein Fine Art Gallery in Miami, FL, called “The Lesser Sight Exhaled". Fernanda has lived in Amazon for 3 years where she has worked on environment and social issues for clients as Nestlé, Getty Images Latin, The Nature Conservancy and Moore Foundation. Now she is currently based in São Paulo and is available for assignments worldwide. Represented by Novus Select, New York, USA she has contributed for National Geographic Traveller, Audubon Magazine, Stern and Washington Post.
